| Pick up the new issue of the magazine BON to read my insert "Your own personal Jesus vs. The Love That Dares To Speak Its Name". The insert is part of a series of inserts based on Depeche Mode songs published in the mag. The work mixes the texts Your own personal Jesus by Depeche and the poem by James Kirkup The Love That Dares To Speak Its Name. On 11 July 1977, the newspaper Gay News was convicted of blasphemous libel for publishing James Kirkup\'s poem. This poem still remains illegal in Britain. |
